This will be a ride for small scooters (50-200cc). We will tour the small towns of Northeast Lancaster County.
Meet Saturday, September 13 between 10:30 and 11am at the Sunoco Station in Lancaster City at the intersection of Orange and Water Streets
It is recommended that you arrive early and enjoy the many local restaurants or markets for a big breakfast. And top off your scooter's gas tank also.
The ride will terminate at the same location, by which time the Wheels Weekend event should be in full swing.
If you have a larger scooter, and are looking for a ride that day, check out the 6th Annual New Holland Fall Scooter Rally

Just curious... If somebody riding a larger scooter wanted to ride along with you guys would you allow him to join in? The limits remind me of the roller skating rinks that have different nights for different groups. If you want to skate and you're a little old lady you're out of luck if it's fat old guy night at the local rink.

Scooters of all sizes are welcome. We placed the 200cc upper limit only because that is the lower limit of the New Holland Maxi-Scooter Rally, and we are not trying to draw riders away from them. It's a courtesy. But no riders will be turned away because their engine is too big. Just keep in mind that the ride will be at 40mph, because our engines are small. Live fast, scoot slow!
I wouldn't have a problem with allowing motorcyclists to join us either depending on the circumstances...Say a couple wants to join the ride but one has a scoot and the other has a cruiser. The expectation would be that all riders would respect us slowpokes on the 50s. :)
Joe, your BV looks enough like a smaller scoot not to draw too much attention anyway. :)
id love to do this but i'm almost 200 lbs on a 50 cc and my tops speed is 35 on a 93 elite sr its great for around the city but i get worried about anywhere else than the city i think i need an air filter clean too... oh vey i need to take care oft this past summer
Rewdy, 50cc Scoots top out around 35 - 40 anyway and the route is planned with 50cc Scoots in mind. We won't leave ya behind. Air filters aren't a big deal to change either. If you're even a little mechanically inclined it should be a snap to replace and not too costly.
Hi -
Have had a 1965 Vespa SS 180 for more than 20 years now, but have only recently started looking for other scooter enthusiasts. I used to ride a lot with my brother and his Harley, since a 180 can get up to 60 mph.
May join you if I can, although I usually try to avoid riding downtown if at all possible - no turning signals on a 1965.
