Vespa Lancaster is now listed on Vespa's website. But if you've driven by Keim Pre-Owned this winter, you probably noticed a lack of progress or any evidence of a Vespa dealership. So I stopped in and asked about it.
I was told that they are waiting on their motorcycle dealer's license from the State, and that it should be here any day. Once that arrives, look for renovations to begin on the property that currently houses their service department. They said to expect signage, and "two Vespas up in the air". It sounds like they are going to do it up right, with a branded showroom.

Hmm. Vespa dealer in Lancaster? I'll be a newly minted PA resident this summer and want to know if it's worth it to buy a used Vespa. Looking at a 2007 LX50 with 1800 miles on it. Need to find out more specs, but whould I be concerned with that amount of miles. The bike is being sold for $1500. Thoughts from the scooter community?
Keep in mind that a LX 50 will only run about 35 mph, which severely limits where you can drive it around here. A 150 will run 50 -55, which is enough to keep from being run over on 72 or 501.
I was in Lancaster yesterday and saw a bunch of Vespa scooters on a used car lot. It was Keim and their facilities looked positively not Vespa like. It will be exciting to see how the dealership develops.
